RASAC 2ND QUARTER 2012 SCHEDULE

 

RASAC Club Races – Club races are hosted by a member on a marked course and timed; however there are no shirts, awards, or pre-registration.  They are FREE to all RASAC MEMBERS and $4 per race for Non RASAC Members.  

 

Premium Race – Races marked in red will require registration and a fee, as determined by each Race Director

 

 

APR 1ST SUNDAY 8:00 AM – 5TH ANNUAL SURVIVOR RUN 5K – Premium Race

Race starts behind MaGerks and is run out on to the Ma & Pa Trail and back.  $25 entry fee – NO RACE DAY SIGN UP.  Prizes and awards for several categories & breakfast at MaGerk’s afterwards.  www.survivorrun.com   RD Phil Anderson (410) 879-7679

Club training run with various distances as the miles are marked.  The full course is 17.7 miles.  Run starts at the Churchville Test Track parking lot.  From RT 22 East go left on RT 136 and the parking lot is a couple miles up on the right.  RD: Stuart Hutchinson

APR 22ND SUNDAY 8:00 AM – 1ST ANNUAL ADAM THOMPSON 5K RUN / WALK – Premium Race

Race will be held on the campus of Harford Community College. Registration is $20 prior to 4/20 and $25 after. T-shirts for all & prizes for top finishers

 

APR 29TH SUNDAY 8:00 AM – RASAC BUNKER HILL 4.8M TRAIL RUN

This loop course covers both sides of the Gunpowder and is mostly single track with a few stream crossings. Start is parking lot at the end of Bunker Hill Rd (across from Hereford High School). From Rt24 North, left on Rt23, right on Rt165 North, left in Jarrettsville on Rt23 Norrisville Rd. Continue to left on White Hall Rd. Right on Wiseburg Rd at fork continue left on Wiseburg Rd. JUN 24TH SUNDAY 8:00 AM – RASAC SWEET AIR TRAIL – “HAPPY FEET” 5 MILER  

Treat your feet to a nice 5 mile trail race. – Asking for a $2.00 Donation for the Ma & Pa Trail   -   Take Mountain Road (RT 152) north and then go left on RT 165. Go right on Green Road for about 2 miles and then right on Moores Road. After about ˝ mile take a left on Dalton-Bevard Road and the park will be at the top of the hill.
